Banadi Sanjay: Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay has been granted permission by the High Court for his padayatra. It issued orders giving permission for the march under certain conditions. The High Court suggested that the padayatra should be continued without going into Bhainsa town and the meeting should be held at a distance of 3 km from Bhainsa town. The High Court has made it clear that hate speeches and slogans should not be made. The High Court has suggested that the meeting can be held from 3 pm to 5 pm and if there is no meeting within 3 km, the police can raise an objection. The police told the High Court that they will tell the distance to the meeting place.
‘Padayatra should be done with only 500 people. The assembly should be celebrated with three thousand people. Leaders and activists should not behave in a way that provokes other religions. Activists should not use sticks and weapons during the march. The High Court said in its order that the police must cooperate with this march. BJP leaders have challenged the Nirmal District Police’s refusal of permission for Bandi Sanjay Padayatra in the High Court. A House motion petition was filed this morning. The High Court, which took up the hearing on the House motion petition filed by the BJP, made it clear that marches and rallies are a constitutional right and it is not right to deny permission to them.
The BJP’s lawyer told the High Court that the public meeting will be held at the Y Junction near Bhainsa and not in the town. So why do you mind if you don’t do padayatra in Bhainsa town? The High Court questioned the police. After hearing the arguments of both sides, the High Court has given permission and there is a possibility that the Bandi Sanjay Padayatra will continue as per the schedule. There is a possibility that the wagon will leave for Sanjay Bhainsa soon. Police imposed Section 144 in Bhainsa during Bandi Padayatra. BJP leaders and workers protested against the police’s denial of permission and arrest for Bandi Sanjay Padayatra. The police arrested them and took them to the station.
Many leaders were arrested in Bhainsa. Nirmal District Police said that they have not yet received the order of the High Court and will come later and take further action. He made it clear that after the orders of the High Court, they will be followed.
