New Delhi: Bajrang Muni Das, a saint from Uttar Pradesh, has declared that the only way to create a Hindu kingdom is to kill Muslim Jihadis. He has already been arrested and is on bail for making similar controversial remarks.
Srilashman Das Udasi Ashram is located in Sitapur, Hyderabad, about 100 km from Lucknow, the capital of UP. The head of this mutt is the saint, Bajrang Muni Das.
He has U.P. Government security has also been provided on the order of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He was arrested on April 13, saying that he wanted to kill Muslims and rape their family women.
Later, on April 24, bail was granted to the person who sought amnesty in the court. However, the man who came out of jail told reporters, ‘I have no regrets about what I said’.
In this case, a controversy has arisen over the comment made by the saint Bajrang Muni. The video recording of this is going viral on UP’s social media.
In his opinion, the sage Muni said, ‘It is well known that India was a peaceful country in the past. This peace was destroyed after the Muslims entered our country. Those with Muslim Jihadi ideals should be killed to make India a Hindu kingdom. If we do this, our country will immediately become a Hindu kingdom.’ He said.
Since Yogi became the Chief Minister of UP in 2017, he has provided police protection to many saints including Bajrang Muni. When the monk was arrested last year, two UP policemen were on security duty with him.
Thuavi Muni confirmed to the media that this video comment is his own. Many Muslim Maulanas condemned his opinion.
On this, UP’s Lucknow Maulana Supian Nizami said, “We have heard many times that Muslims will be eliminated in Hindu Raj. But the new idea is that Hindu Raj can be established only by killing Muslims.”
Similarly, it is the habit of the saint to make controversial false statements. It is not surprising that the UP government is also likely to be behind his speech.
This concept is a stain on a secular democratic country. It is also a challenge to the Constitution of India,” he said.
However, some other saints of UP have supported the sage’s view. Ayodhya-based monk Paramahans Das, who, like Sage Muni, has expressed controversial views on Hindu Rajya, has also expressed his support.
On this, Paramahans, a monk of Ayodhya Math, said, “I spoke to Saint Bajrang Muni on the phone. I agree with his opinion that only Jihadis should be eliminated.”
Thirendra Krishna Shastri, a monk from Chhatrapur in the neighboring state of Madhya Pradesh, said, ‘Everyone prepare for the next year. Get ready to see India as a Hindu kingdom.’ He said.
It is to be recalled that since 2021, many of the monks of the northern state have been calling for the establishment of a Hindu Rajya, and for this, killing Muslims.
