Members of the Indian community in the UAE can participate in the public launch event on February 15 through pre-registration. The temple representatives said that the inaugural celebrations will be the biggest festival of harmony.
Temple representatives said that the Hindu temple will be a spiritual center for global unity and the inaugural celebrations will be a festival bringing the art, values and culture of India to the UAE.
A large rock temple is being prepared on 27 acres of land at Abu Muraikha. In August 2015, the UAE government allotted land to build a temple in Abu Dhabi. UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan gifted the land during Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit. The foundation stone was laid in February 2018.
