Outrage erupted in Haryana politics. Former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh has leveled sensational allegations against Home Minister and NCP leader Anil Deshmukh. He alleged that his target was to collect Rs 100 crore per month. He said he had suggested to Waze, who was arrested in connection with the explosives deal at Ambani’s house, to collect Rs 100 crore a month. A letter to this effect was written to CM Uddhav Thackeray on Saturday (March 20).
The remarks by Parambir Singh, who was abruptly transferred over allegations that the trial in the Ambani case was not conducted properly, are outrageous. The Center has also taken the matter seriously. BJP leaders are pouring criticism on the Shiv Sena government.
