President honored Major for his indomitable courage and bravery, lives with family in Greater Faridabad.
Major Aditya Bhadauria, a resident of Greater Faridabad, who killed terrorists in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir, was awarded the Shaurya Chakra. Draupadi Murmu, President and President of the three Services, conferred this honor on Bhadoria in a program organized at Rashtrapati Bhavan. Major Bhadauria is serving in the Kumaon Regiment, 50th Battalion Rashtriya Rifles. His posting is in Pulwama. Major Aditya Bhadauria, who joined the NDA after doing his primary studies at St. Thomas School in Faridabad from MVN School Sector 17 to Class XII, lives with his family in BPTP Block T, Greater Faridabad, on leave from the Army. Wing Commander Satinder Duggal, district convenor of BJP ex-servicemen cell, said that on March 11, 2022, Major Bhadoria had received information about the hiding of a dreaded terrorist in a village in Pulwama. Bhadauria along with his team surrounded the village and forced the residents out to surrender to the terrorist. But the terrorist attacked Major with assault rifle and hand grenade. Aditya took charge and killed the terrorist by cross firing keeping his entire team safe. For his indomitable courage, the President honored him with the Shaurya Chakra.
