Honor: Various social organizations of the city were honored with the Social Warrior Award

The program was organized in collaboration with District Red Cross Society and Teacher’s Cool, emphasized on serving the society selflessly.

Dozens of social organizations doing social work in different areas of the city were honored with the Social Warrior Award. The program was organized by the District Red Cross Society in the auditorium of Sector 12 Society with the help of life member and motivational speaker Jannat Khatri. The Chief Guest of the program, District President of BJP Gopal Sharma and Secretary of Red Cross Society Bijendra Sourot as special guests gave certificates to the office bearers of the institutions.

Sharing his views, BJP President Gopal Sharma said that doing social work is a challenging task. When a social organization does social work, then the responsibility of the upliftment of the society falls on them. Doing social service even in all the difficult situations of life is really an ideal work. In such a situation, capable people should also come forward for social service so that they can bring some change in the society. Motivational speaker Jannat Khatri said that no doubt all the people present here are selflessly engaged in service, but if your work gets an identity, a recognition, then your courage doubles. Through the programme, Jannat appealed to social organizations and said that nowadays small children are being used on various social sites to go viral. For this many irresponsible steps are being taken by the family members. We all should work together to save the innocence of children. Such videos should be stopped from going viral. On this occasion, Assistant Secretary of the Society and District Training Officer Purushottam Saini, along with other dignitaries were present.
