BengalA video of a man brutally beating a couple on the road in West Bengal has gone viral. In this, a man is seen beating two people including a woman on the road. The surprising thing is that when the woman was being beaten on the road, the crowd present there remained a spectator.
Now, the BJP is targeting Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and her party over this viral video. The BJP alleges that Tajmul is a local TMC leader of Chopra in Dinajpur district. The West Bengal Police has arrested Tajmul in the case, while Chopra MLA Hamidul Rahman has also given a statement on this. The MLA said that the woman’s activities were anti-social.
The main opposition party BJP has said that this is the ugly face of Mamata Banerjee’s rule in West Bengal. BJP IT cell and party co-incharge for Bengal Amit Malviya said in a post on Instagram that the man in the video brutally beating a woman is named Tajemul. He is famous for delivering instant justice through his ‘Insaaf’ Sabha and is a close aide of Chopra MLA Hamidur Rahman.

However, Hamidul said that Tajamul has nothing to do with TMC. In fact, in the video, a man is seen repeatedly hitting a woman with sticks while the crowd stands silently watching. The woman screams in pain but the man does not stop and continues to attack. Then he turns to a man and starts hitting him too. Most of the members of the crowd are seen helping the attacker instead of trying to stop the attack. At one point, the man grabs the woman by her hair and kicks her.
