Hospital Fire .. Flames Erupted

A huge fire broke out at Gurunanak Dev Hospital in Amritsar, Punjab on Saturday afternoon. With this, there was thick smoke and flames. Patients were evacuated from the hospital after the blaze broke out. No casualties were reported. However, eight fire engines rushed to the spot and put out the blaze.

A fire broke out in a nearby transformer and eight fire engines rushed to the scene to contain the blaze, fire officer Lovepreet said. The fire was brought under control and no injuries were reported.

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann responded to the incident. Said to be overseeing relief efforts. “There was an unfortunate fire at Gurunanak Hospital in Amritsar. Firefighters were on alert. By the grace of God there were no casualties. Minister Harbhajan Singh reached the spot. I am constantly monitoring the relief efforts.” Tweeted in Punjabi. Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.

On Friday, a fire broke out in a building near a metro station in Delhi. More than 30 people were killed in the crash. 29 people have disappeared. Others were injured. With this, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal announced compensation of Rs 10 lakh to the families of the deceased. He said the incident would be investigated. However, it seems that the catastrophic accident was due to non-compliance with the rules in the building.
