Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP GVL Narasimha Rao criticized Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy for misleading the people by calling Visakhapatnam an administrative capital without any cooperation for its development. Duyyabatta said that even though central government organizations have written letters saying that they will set up offices in Amaravati if infrastructure is provided, the Jagan government is not paying attention. Apart from the allegations of irregularities in Amaravati for three years, they denied that they have revealed any evidence.
Speaking to the media in Delhi, GVL Narasimha Rao said that YCP government and Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy are fully aware that three capital cities are not possible. However, they complained that the cassette that was played three years ago was being played again and again.
MP GVL Narasimha Rao asked why the capital will be placed in Visakhapatnam. He protested whether new land scams should be done in Visakha. He criticized that many contributions should come from the state government for the development of Visakhapatnam, but that did not happen. GVL deplored why the construction of Visakhapatnam-Chennai Industrial Corridor is going on slowly if there is real development.
