The King’s Guard have always been one of the main attractions for tourists from all over the world who visit Buckingham Palace. These are the famous guards who never speak and remain with an expressionless face.

A TikTok user, who goes by the name @howmuchthough, shared with his 196,000 followers the amount these workers pocket.
The man explained that the King’s Guard is divided into five regiments: the Grenadier Guards, the Coldstreams, the Scots Guards, the Irish Guards and the Welsh Guards.

The King’s Guards live in Wellington Barracks, which is 300 meters from Buckingham Palace.

Once they are promoted as guards, after 26 weeks of service, they earn £23,496 British pounds (about $29,369).
Once promoted to first corporal, they earn £34,497 a year (about $43,120).
When promoted to corporal major, they earn £36,728 a year.
The next position is Sergeant, which starts at a salary of £41,374 per year (about $45,908), followed by a position called Color Sergeants, which has a salary of £46,815 per year (about $58,517).
