The British newspaper “The Telegraph” revealed that English club Manchester City is preparing a huge offer to include Egyptian Omar Marmoush, the German star of Eintracht Frankfurt, during the current winter transfer period.
The newspaper said that Manchester City sees Egyptian Omar Marmoush as one of the first-class players in the world due to his high technical potential and is preparing to pay an amount of 50 million pounds sterling in order to obtain his services.
Marmoush (25 years old) is characterized by speed and the ability to play in more than one position, and he has an attacking tendency that perfectly suits the style of play of Spanish coach Pep Guardiola, who hopes to end the season in an honorable manner, different from what is currently happening to his team.
Manchester City had disappointed its fans this season, as during the past months of November and December, the team had only won one match out of nine in the English Premier League and lost six matches, in an incredible scene for a team that had rejected the concept of loss in its dictionary throughout the past seasons.
Marmoush performs wonderfully in German stadiums, as he scored 18 goals in 24 matches in various competitions during the current season and assisted 11 goals. He currently ranks second on the German League’s top scorers list with 13 goals.
