The Muslim couple donated heavily to Tirumala Srivenkateswara Swamy. Chennai-based couple Subina Banu and Abdul Ghani donated Rs.1.02 crore to the Srivari temple. Out of this total donation to SV Annaprasadam Trust Rs. 15 lakhs, new furniture in the recently modernized Sri Padmavati Rest House, kitchen utensils at Rs. 87 lakhs were handed over.
Subina Banu and Abdul Ghani made this donation after visiting Lord Shiva on Tirumala Hill. Donors hand over their donation check to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Evo Dharma Reddy at Ranganayakula Mandapam in Srivari Temple. Recently, Mukesh Ambani, head of Reliance Industries, paid Rs. 1.5 crores was donated. Recently, a Muslim couple from Chennai gave a huge donation of Rs.1.02 crores. Meanwhile, Tirumala Srivaru means Muslims have a special sense of devotion from the beginning. Devotees come from all over for darshan of Srivari.
