26,420 from the Alipiri walkway, 1.66 lakh from the special entrance darshan (Rs. 300), 83,000 from the Sarvadarshanam timeslot and 15,465 from the Srivani Trust. Donors 7,917 visited through Vaikuntha. Virtual services tickets (Kalyanotsavam, Arjitha Brahmotsavam, Sahasradipalankara Seva, Unjal Seva) were visited by 43,250 Swamis. A total of 15.14 lakh brownies were provided to the devotees, officials said. Revenue of Rs 26.61 crore was generated through hundi gifts.
TTD officials said that 500 Srivari servants, 1000 vigilance and security personnel served the devotees. He said security was being monitored in key areas through a video wall in the Command Control Center. At the counters in Thirumala, the luggage of 2.05 lakh devotees was stored. Devotees arrived in Thirumala in 69,117 vehicles. 1.23 lakh devotees offered offerings to Srivastava.
APSRTC buses carry 1.81 lakh devotees on 6,640 trips from Tirupati to Tirumala. Of the 6,256 trips from Tirumala to Tirupati, 1.84 lakh devotees were reached. Due to heavy rains on November 17 and 18 last year, landslides broke and the Thirumala Second Ghat road was severely damaged, officials said. He said the war-related repairs were completed at a cost of Rs 1.30 crore and made available to devotees by Vaikuntha Ekadashi. Rehabilitation work of the walkway is underway at a cost of Rs 3.60 crore on the Srivari stairway.
