The Casablanca Collective Council is rushing to develop a comprehensive plan for infrastructure development, after the Kingdom won the honor of organizing the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations and the 2030 World Cup, along with Portugal and Spain.
The Collective Council, in coordination with the Royal Moroccan Football Federation and the Ministry of Sports, wants to complete the large stadium in Benslimane, with a capacity of 115,000 spectators.
According to what Al-Jarida 24 reported, a group of sports and entertainment facilities will accompany the new stadium project in the city of Benslimane.
It is expected that the new stadium will be built on a total area of 100 hectares, 35 km from Casablanca.
According to what we have achieved, four training fields approved by the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) and parking lots will be created, in addition to the construction of an athletics stadium with a capacity of 25,000 spectators.
The major project will also witness the creation of a multi-sports hall, a gymnastics hall, an Olympic swimming pool, and a conference and exhibition center.
The responsible authorities are also counting on the creation of a shopping centre, a sports space, a hotel, and a garden, which will fall within the huge project, whose budget is estimated at 5 billion dirhams.
