Pastors in the state get Rs. The Jagan government has once again relaxed the rules that provide for an honorarium of Rs 5,000. The church will be taken as the sole basis for honorarium and the six-step rules applicable to all schemes will not apply to this scheme.

The government is accepting applications with a deadline of 25th of this month as applications are received three times but do not meet the expected level of eligibility. While maintaining the condition that the place should be registered in the name of the church .. the provision has already been changed that even the position‌ certificate issued by the tehsildar in the name of the church and the register‌ gift deed given by the donors are sufficient.

Recently, the government has made it clear that it would be sufficient for the local VRVO, which has given some leeway, to look into the issue of certification by the Welfare Secretary. It has been revealed that it is sufficient to submit a notary certificate for churches located in rented houses, in places given by donors. While there was only a provision for the church to be registered under the Society Act, an additional trust was now added.

Although there are branch churches in different parts of the country that have the same registration, the government has directed the district level authorities to ensure that the pastors are not entitled to the honorarium if they have different accounts in the respective banks. It is sufficient if the pastor / members confirm that the church society or trust has no other income.

Furthermore, the government has made it clear that caste certification is not required for pastors. Other personal credentials made it clear that the bank account did not work. If the pastor’s family has a government employee and the family income exceeds the prescribed limit, the YSSAR has issued orders that they are not entitled to honorarium if they are benefiting under the pension gift. Revealed that if there were two or three pastors in the same family and they were acting as pastors for different churches they would not even qualify.
