New Delhi. The winter session of Parliament has started from Monday itself. The first day was marred by chaos. The proceedings of both the houses started at 11 o’clock, which were adjourned after some time till 11 am today i.e. 27th November. However, due to the special event organized on the occasion of Constitution Day on 26 November, the proceedings of the Houses (Parliament) were not held.
After this, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla adjourned the proceedings of the Lok Sabha till 12 noon. In fact, opposition MPs are demanding discussion in the Lok Sabha on the disturbance in Sambhal of UP and the matter related to Adani. On the demand of the opposition, the Lok Sabha Speaker said that the House should be allowed to function. Every issue will be discussed.
Along with the Lok Sabha, there was a huge uproar from the opposition in the Rajya Sabha also. After this, the proceedings of Rajya Sabha were first adjourned till 11.30 am. After this, the proceedings of Rajya Sabha have been adjourned till tomorrow. Before the proceedings, Rahul Gandhi spoke to the media outside the Parliament.
During this he said, “Do you think Adani will accept the allegations? Obviously he will deny the allegations. The point is that as we have said, he should be arrested. Hundreds of people are being arrested on small charges and Sajjan (Gautam Adani) is accused of thousands of crores of rupees in America, he should be in jail and the government is protecting him.”
