Hundreds of beds occupied by patients who no longer require hospital treatment

Hundreds of beds are currently occupied by patients who do not require hospital care. Patients are waiting for a place in a nursing home, rehabilitation center or home care. Hospitals are therefore less able to operate and emergency departments sometimes close.
