New Delhi: Hurriyat Conference Party chief Naeem Ahmed Khan has been accused of raising funds for terrorist organizations in Kashmir. He was arrested in 2017 and is in jail.
The NIA has filed a 12,000-page charge sheet against Ahmed Khan, Hizbul Mujahideen chief Syed Salahuddin and others of conspiring against the government and inciting violence in Kashmir.
In this case, the trial court rejected Naeem Ahmed Khan’s bail plea. Naeem Ahmed Khan appealed against this in the Delhi High Court. The petition came up for hearing yesterday before Justice Siddharth Mridul and Justice Talwant Singh. The judges then ordered the NIA to respond. The hearing was adjourned to March 23.
