If Pakistani fans are comparing Babar with Kohli, a cricketer from that country says he is a better player than Virat. Khurram Manzoor says his conversion rate (turned into centuries) in List-A cricket (in the 50-over format) is better than Kohli’s.
Khurram, who has played 166 List-A matches. He says he is a better player than Kohli in List-A records.
‘I am not comparing myself with Kohli. The fact is.. if you take the top-10 players in 50 over cricket.. I am the world number 1. Kohli is next to me. My conversion rate is better than Virat’s in List A cricket,’ Khurram commented on Nadir Ali’s YouTube channel.
Khurram said that Kohli scored a century in every six innings. He said that in the last ten years he was ranked fifth in the world list of cricketers.
Khurram scored 27 centuries in 166 List A matches and scored 7922 runs at an average of 53.52. His highest score was 190 not out. Meanwhile, Kohli has scored 14251 runs in 305 List A matches at an average of 56.55. While there are 50 centuries, the highest score is 183.
The problem of this Pakistani cricketer is that the Pakistani selectors do not care about him, who is a better player than Kohli. He indirectly told the Pakistan selectors that you guys are missing another Kohli.
Do you think it would be good if a cricketer with such good statistics plays in international cricket..? That’s it. He made his debut in international cricket in February 2008 before Kohli. He played 16 Tests, 7 ODIs and 3 T20s for Pakistan. He scored 817 runs in 16 Tests at an average of 28.17. There is a century and 7 half-centuries in it. Khurram scored 3 half-centuries in seven ODIs and scored 236 runs at an average of 33.71. When it comes to the shorter format, he scored only 11 runs in 3 T20Is. If we give him some more chances in ODIs, he would be able to chat. But he last played an ODI in January 2009 against Sri Lanka. He played the last Test in 2014 and the last T20 in 2016. The career of this 36-year-old Pakistani cricketer is almost over..!
