A wife in Visakhapatnam district complained that her husband had gone missing after receiving a call from a woman. Tatipudi Maheshwari, a woman from Allipuram’s Venkateswarametta area, complained that her husband had not been seen for the past two months. She appealed to the media saying that despite filing a complaint in the second town police station, justice is not being done.
According to the information given to the media by Tatipudi Maheshwari at the VJF Press Club, Maheshwari’s father from Parvathipuram area had died less than 30 years ago, so he reached Visakhapatnam along with his mother and other family members. Maheshwari used to work in a nearby glass shop while living with her mother at Allipuram Venkateswarametta. In this process, she came in contact with Ashok from Pendurthi Chinnathadivasala area.
After that, when Ashok showed his face for marriage, Maheshwari approached the elders and registered the marriage. They have a five-year-old child. In this regard, Maheshwari alleged that two months ago she received a phone call from another woman and since then Ashok has been missing. She pleaded that her husband should be handed over even though she approached the police but did not get justice.
