Instagram offers up to two ways in which you can permanently delete your account on the platform, and here we are going to explain both. It is important to note that the company also allows you temporarily deactivate your profile in the event that you do not want to end it forever and, in fact, by permanently deleting your account the app it gives you up to two months to repent.
Delete your profile from the Account Center
This section can be accessed from the web or from the app, and in it You will find all the profiles that you have registered in the different apps of the company (Messenger, Instagram or Facebook). Once you are here you must look for the section of Personal information where you will find information such as your email or your phone number.
But where you have to go is the next section, called Account Ownership and Control. When you click, a new tab called Deactivation or removal and when you choose the profile you want it will give you a choice between the temporary or permanent deactivation.
