MLA Venkatrao alleged that he was seen killing himself and portraying it as a political assassination. The government and the party will support the family of their leader Ganji Prasad. TDP leaders are unable to stand the rule of Chief Minister YS Jagan. Police will take action against those who attacked him.
YSSRCP leader Ganji Prasad was assassinated last month in G Kottapalli, Dwarka Thirumala Mandal, Eluru district. Police have arrested six accused (Bajarayya, Suresh, Mohankumar, Hemant, Ganji Nagarjuna, Reddy Satyanarayana) in the case. However, police said that the three had committed the murder at the instigation of local MPTC Bajarayya. Rekki was held for three days before the murder.
The dominance struggle was found to be the main reason for Ganji Prasad’s assassination. While Ganji Prasad and Bajrayyal are YSSRCP leaders, there has been a minor political feud between the two for a few days. Prasad had lodged a complaint with the police over previous riots. After the murder, local MLA Talari Venkatrao G. Kottapalli left. When Ganji reached there to visit Prasad’s family .. Venkatrao was attacked by the locals. The police rescued him and sent him out of the village. Tensions were high in the village for a few hours.
