Layoffs in IT companies have become a hot topic now. In the past few days, many companies have gone on the path of layoff. While lakhs of people have already lost their jobs, many reports are revealing that there is a threat of thousands losing their jobs in the coming days. Each one of those who are losing their jobs is suffering. Some of the laid off employees are making sensational allegations against their companies. Google is not an exception to this. The allegations made by a person who lost his job from Google is creating a stir in the company. The employee, who held key responsibilities in the organization, alleged that she was dismissed by conspiracy because she did not fulfill the wishes of a female employee.

Ryan Olohan, who worked as an executive at Google, was fired from the company a few days ago. He alleged that one of Google’s top executives, Tiffany Miller, asked him to satisfy his sexual desires. He said that she came and spoke to him during a party held in 2019.

‘My married life is not so spicy. Ryan said she told him, ‘I know you like Asian women.’ She allegedly touched and rubbed her neck with her hands while making these comments. He filed a lawsuit in court on this issue.

Ryan is currently 48 years old. Father of seven children. Miller, the woman he accused, was the director of programmatic media at Google.

‘I first informed the HR department about this incident. But, the company did not take any action. However, since the complaint came to the ears of Miller, she has been making bad publicity against me in the company. Complained to HR that my mental state was not good,” said Ryan.

Ryan said that he has been facing problems from Miller throughout his time in the company. He said that she often insulted him in front of his colleagues. This hostility reached its peak during the Google event in December 2021. That day, Miller was drunk and spoke insultingly in front of my colleagues,’ Ryan wrote in his complaint.

Ryan is accused of forcing a male employee who was already at the company to be fired to make room for a female employee in 2022. Ryan claims that Google’s employee investigations team told him he was fired for being “not inclusive.” In an interview with the New York Post, Ryan vented his anger.

Ryan alleges that he was fired from his job due to discrimination and retaliation. A lawsuit was filed against the plaintiff to pay compensation for this. Along with the woman employee, Google has been named as defendants. While the allegations made by some ex-employees who were recently laid off from Google were already creating a stir in the company, the latest case has become more of a headache.
