A plane suffered a technical problem this afternoon, blocking the runway at Ibiza airport, until it was removed after seven in the afternoon. As reported by AENA, the incident occurred around three in the afternoon this Saturday, when a plane from the German company Lufthansa suffered a technical problem and blocked the runway. Fortunately, there are no injuries to report. For security reasons, however, flight arrivals and departures at the Ibizan airfield have been paralyzed for several hours.
It is currently unknown how many flights have been affected by the incident. AENA has asked passengers with trips scheduled this Saturday to or from Ibiza to check the status of their flight with the airlines.
