CM Jagan said that films made by K. Vishwanath have brought about a great change by taking social issues as the theme. Vishwanath Mahabhinishkraman expressed a great loss to the Telugu film industry. On this occasion, Chief Minister Jagan recalled the Lifetime Achievement Award given to Vishwanath by the State Government in the name of late Chief Minister Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy. The CM expressed his deepest condolences to the family members of Vishwanath.
Meanwhile, Dadasaheb Phalke awardee K. Vishwanath (92) breathed his last on Thursday night while undergoing treatment at Apollo Hospital in Hyderabad. K. Vishwanath has been suffering from age-related health problems for a few days. Due to health problems, he was admitted to Apollo Hospital in Hyderabad. However, doctors declared him dead at midnight on Thursday.
