If you want to play Alan Wake 2, the sequel to the cult title from Remedy Entertainment that will be released at the end of this month, you may need to refresh the plot of the original, which came out thirteen years ago. And, although it may seem a little strange, Fortnite has come to your aid. Epic has published a playable and abridged version of the title, just 20 minutes long, which can be tried for free within the game.
For those who don’t remember, in the first game the protagonist, Alan, took his wife, Alice, on a vacation to a small coastal town. Shortly after starting the game, it disappears, and Alan realizes that this town hides much more than it seems.
The playable fragment of Fortnite has been developed in collaboration with Remedy Entertainment, Spiral House and Zen Creative, and you can see some images below:
Alan Wake: Flashback is now available on all the platforms on which Fortnite can be played – which, as you already know, are many – and, of course, you will need to download the game first. Afterwards, you will have to use the code 3426-5561-3374 to access the episode, or use the main menu option. Alan Wake 2, of course, can only be played on Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and the Epic Games Store launch on October 27.
