The head of the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, Igor Nosov, has died. This was announced on Tuesday, February 8, by the press service of the Ministry for the Development of the Far East.
“We regret to announce the sudden death of Igor Nikolaevich Nosov, CEO of the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic. We express our deepest condolences to the family and loved ones, ”the statement says.
The corporation added that Nosov made a “significant contribution to the development of Russian regions – and, above all, the Far East and the Arctic.”
Igor Nosov was born on April 20, 1978. He has headed the corporation since May 2021. Nosov also worked in various positions in government and commercial organizations.
In 2018-2020, he served as Deputy Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, previously as General Director of Innopolis Special Economic Zone JSC. As the corporation recalled, he also held senior positions in the government of Moscow and the government of the Republic of Tatarstan, headed the Board of Directors of the Alabuga special economic zone.
