Important note for the people of AP.. Aadhaar services are available for five days. The government has given an opportunity to update biometrics in Aadhaar. Special camps are organized for five days in village and ward secretariats. These camps will be organized on 19th, 20th, 21st, 23rd and 24th of this month in the secretariats and schools under their jurisdiction. All District Collectors, District In-charge Officers of Village Ward Secretariats and District Education Officers have given orders.

Not only these five days.. these camps will be organized again for four days from 7th to 10th February. MPDOs and Municipal Commissioners have been advised to do proper publicity to get Aadhaar services through these camps. During these camp days, the digital assistants in the secretariats will completely focus on Aadhaar services. Aadhaar biometric details of all are being updated without any problems in biometric details.

Under the new UIDAI rules, biometric details will have to be updated at least once in ten years. It is estimated that there are still up to 80 lakh people in the state who have not updated this. Also, all the state and central government welfare schemes are being implemented with Aadhaar linkage. Biometric system is also being implemented. Volunteers are taking biometrics from the beneficiaries. That’s why it needs to be updated.
