Students and teachers of Indian School Niswa were felicitated
Niswa: Niswa Indian Association felicitated the students and teachers of Indian School Niswa for securing second place in the CBSE Oman Cluster Athletic Meet. The 55 students who won the first, second and third positions were honored with a trophy and the three teachers who trained them, Mr. Thiruselvam Rajamanikyam, Mr. Srinivasan Bassaya and Mrs. Shinseetha, were honored with Ponnada and Momente.

A native of Alappuzha passed away in Oman
Salala: V. Sreekumar (44), son of Vasudevan Pillai, son of Vasudevan Pillai, died in Salala, Oman. He was undergoing treatment for a week and died on Sunday. The body kept in Salala Sultan Qaboos Hospital Mortuary will be taken to the country today and cremated tomorrow at 3 pm in the home compound, informed the officials. Mother: Indira Devi.
