Al Hilal team topped the Saudi Roshan League after defeating its guest, Al Riyadh, 6-1, during the match that brought them together on Friday in the sixth round of the competition.
Al Hilal ended the first half ahead with two clean goals, scored by Alexander Mitrovic in the 30th minute from a penalty kick and by Yasser Al Shahrani in the fourth minute of stoppage time.
In the second half, Nasser Al-Dosari scored a ball made by Malcolm after Neymar’s pass, before the former Zenit player scored the fourth goal with an assist from his colleague, the Brazilian national team’s top scorer, after which Salem Al-Dosari scored the fifth goals from a penalty kick and the sixth in the 95th minute.
On the other hand, Riyadh scored a face-saving goal in the sixth minute of stoppage time through Ali Al-Zaqan.
This match witnessed the participation of Brazilian Neymar in the 63rd minute for the first time with Al Hilal after his transfer from Paris Saint-Germain in the last summer transfer period.
Al Hilal raised its score to 16 points at the top of the standings, as the team maintained its record undefeated, achieving its fifth victory this season against a draw in a match.
On the other hand, Riyadh’s balance stopped at four points in sixteenth place, suffering its fourth defeat this season, compared to winning one match and drawing the same.
