The limit was crossed when miscreants broke eight idols in three Hindu temples in Mymensingh and Dinajpur within two days. However, one person has been arrested in connection with the vandalism.
Abul Khair, officer-in-charge (OC) of Haluaghat police station under North Mymensig district, said that on Thursday night, miscreants had broken two idols under construction at a temple in Shakuai area. A 37 year old man Azharul has been arrested in this regard.

Only eight percent of the population of 17 crore here are Hindus. From August 5 to November, more than 200 attacks have taken place in 50 districts.
At the same time, the condition of minorities in India’s neighboring countries is not hidden from anyone. This year, there have been more cases of violence against Hindus in Bangladesh than in Pakistan. After the fall of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s government, these violent incidents have increased rapidly. On Friday, the Ministry of External Affairs had presented shocking figures of violence against Hindus in neighboring states.
