Investigators in Moscow detained their son on suspicion of killing an elderly couple. This was reported in the official Telegram channel of the capital GSU of the Investigative Committee of Russia on Monday, February 6.
The bodies of an elderly couple with signs of violent death were found earlier on February 6 in the apartment of one of the houses on Leninsky Prospekt. During the investigative and operational activities, the investigators established the involvement of the couple’s son, born in 1972, writes RT.
During the interrogation, the man fully admitted his guilt. He said that the motive for the murder was a long disagreement with his parents, according to the Federal News Agency.
A criminal case has been initiated under the article on the murder of two or more persons, writes RIAMO.
The court, with the participation of a representative of the prosecutor’s office of the South-Western Administrative District, will consider the issue of choosing a preventive measure in the form of detention in respect of the suspected, REGNUM reports.
It is noted that the suspect himself turned to law enforcement officers and reported the discovery of the bodies of his parents – a 73-year-old man and a 74-year-old woman – with multiple stab wounds.
The Moscow prosecutor’s office controls the establishment of all the circumstances of the incident, as well as the adoption of a procedural decision on the fact of the murder.
