TORREÓN, COAH.- Given the migratory phenomenon that Coahuila is experiencing, the governor Manolo Jimenez explained that the State Goverment has dedicated itself to assisting these people with humanitarian aid, once they established agreements with the Migration’s national institute, the mayors of the border strip and the US authorities.
He reported that in Coahuila Extraordinary things are being done in the hiring of flights to deport Central Americans to their places of origin or to the southern border of Mexico, this in response to the agreements reached in consular meetings.

An operation was mounted to depressurize the Coahuila border and good results have been achieved, while operations in Piedras Negras are permanently maintained and today they begin in the Center Region, he stressed.
He commented that the air deportation operations taking place in Coahuila have served as a reference in the meetings held by the president Andrés Manuel López Obrador with the American delegation.
In response to the migration phenomenon, he explained that the Federal Government has been providing a lot of support; However, we do not have to throw the bells into the air, since they are operational that surely have to be permanently, but if we all do our part, this must be controlled.
What is being done is to begin to control the migration phenomenon from the southern border, although also Ferromex It has an important responsibility that it is fulfilling and that is why it has been strengthening its security systems to prevent migrants from getting on the trains.
For the transfer of migrants, he stated that extraordinary support is being received from the Federal government and it is part of the agreements that have been concluded with the US authorities.

He commented that he recently held a series of conversations with the Secretary of the Interior, María Luisa Alcaldewho reiterated support for Coahuila for the care of migrants, while Coahuila has arranged its entire infrastructure to address this issue.

COORDINATION WITH NUEVO LEÓN
The president mentioned that, given the attempt by criminal gangs to enter Coahuila territory, it is important to maintain good coordination with the government of New Lion and that of Tamaulipas to avoid it.
In this sense, operations are carried out within the limits of Coahuila with both states, in which the National Guard and the Mexican Army, in addition to the state police.
