Russia, from January 1, 2022, new rules for the payment of pensions will come into effect. The updated regulations were approved by the Ministry of Labor.
As noted by “Parlamentskaya Gazeta” on November 21, now, earlier than the established date, they will begin to pay and deliver pensions to the regions where the emergency regime is in effect. To do this, the recipient of the payment must apply to the Pension Fund (PFR).
In addition, the following innovations will take effect:
- It will be possible to make clarifications to the delivery statement. So, in an application for the delivery of a pension, a person who wants to receive it through the post office or another organization engaged in delivery will be able to indicate information about the transfer of the payment that he has not received in the current month to his bank account.
If such information is available, the territorial body of the Pension Fund of Russia will transfer the amount of the insurance pension to the pensioner’s account no later than three working days.
2. In addition, from January 1, deduction from pensions on court lists will be prohibited if the pensioner is declared bankrupt.
- Under the new rules, the deceased’s pension can be received by his legal heirs, who have sent a corresponding application to the FIU.
- Russians who received payments from non-state funds, which have ceased to function, will still receive the funded part. In this case, payments will begin on the first day of the month following the month for which the last payment was made by the non-state pension fund.
On September 22, the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Russia Anton Kotyakov announced that social pensions in 2022 will be indexed by 7.7%. In addition, the minister said that in 2022, more than 900 billion rubles are allocated in the budgets of the Pension Fund and the Social Insurance Fund to support motherhood and childhood. At the same time, the indexation of insurance pensions in 2022 will be 5.9%. Thus, the average annual old-age insurance pension of a non-working pensioner will be 18,521 rubles in 2022, 19,477 rubles in 2023 and 20,469 rubles in 2024.
