The greenhouses of the Astrakhan region are planned to be equipped with gas heating in the near future, which will allow growing vegetables all year round. The Astrakhan 24 TV channel announced this on Friday, April 29.
Farmer Shamil Abubekerov told the TV channel that in early June he plans to harvest about 100 tons of early varieties of tomatoes, which is 25% more than last year. He added that his plans also include growing carrots, potatoes, onions and other crops.
“We sell our products in the Astrakhan region, as well as in other regions of central Russia and even in Kazakhstan. Sanctions do not affect us in any way, we are working,” the farmer said.
It is noted that within the framework of the program “Support for a Novice Farmer”, Abubekerov received 3 million rubles from the state for the construction of greenhouses.
“The grant received from the regional Ministry of Agriculture helped a lot. Despite the fact that most of the greenhouses were already built at their own expense, thanks to the state, they managed to increase their area to 12 hectares,” he said.
As the administration of the Privolzhsky district told the TV channel, in 2022 the state plans to finance the improvement of greenhouses and gas supply.
Earlier, on April 26, it was reported that new greenhouse complexes would be built near Khabarovsk in 2023. At the site of the Rakitnoye TOP “Khabarovsk”, the company LLC “TK” Khabarovsk “will build greenhouses for growing tomatoes with a total area of 11 hectares. Also, the company TK Priamurye LLC will create the same complex for growing tomatoes and cucumbers on an area of 7.4 hectares. The total investment is about 35 million rubles.
