According to Izvestia, the cabinet is located about 700 meters from the Surazh station and 300 meters from the residential sector. Smoke at the crossing was noticed by the guards. As a result of the arson, devices with signaling, centralization and blocking devices burned out.
A blue canister of liquid, a black jacket, a pack of cigarettes and a wooden case were seized from the scene. In addition, a mobile phone and electronic devices in a polymer bag were found next to the relay cabinet. The police also seized the system unit, laptop and memory card.
Law enforcement agencies have identified the suspect. The man is detained. He does not admit guilt. The trial has already been scheduled.
Earlier, in November 2022, it was reported that two students from Ufa carried out several attacks and sabotage at Russian Railways facilities, the security forces caught them red-handed at the end of October. Young people doused various elements of the power supply of the Russian Railways systems with flammable liquid and set them on fire. Prior to their arrest, they carried out four acts of sabotage. Students committed acts of sabotage in the Kalininsky and Sovetsky districts of the capital of Bashkiria, as well as in the Ufimsky district of the republic.
