In the Donetsk People’s Republic, allied forces liberated Otradovka and Veselaia Dolina. This was reported on Friday, October 7, on the Telegram channel of the DPR’s territorial defense headquarters.
“A group of troops from the DPR and LPR, with fire support from the RF Armed Forces, liberated Otradovka, Veselaya Dolina and Zaitsevo,” the report says.
The headquarters of the territorial defense also reported that a resident of Donetsk was wounded as a result of the shelling of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the 360 TV channel notes. In addition, a man was injured in Yasinovataya. The Ukrainian forces attacked Kutuzovskaya Street.
These settlements are located 10 km from Artemovsk, not far from Zaitsevo, from which Ukrainian troops were knocked out the day before, RT specifies. The losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine there amounted to 120 people killed and three infantry fighting vehicles.
Earlier, on October 7, the acting head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, said that the situation in the Krasnoliman direction remains the most difficult. Meanwhile, he also reported on the improvement of the situation in the Artemovsk direction and cases of retreat of the Ukrainian military, the website aif.ru reports.
On October 6, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said that Russia would continue to liberate the territories occupied by Ukrainian neo-Nazis. He expressed confidence that “all goals to protect our citizens and territories will certainly be fulfilled,” the kp.ru website notes.
On September 15, Maiorsk was reported to have been liberated in the DPR thanks to allied forces.
