In the Rostov region, on September 18, FSB officers detained two agents of the terrorist Legion of Russian Freedom banned in Russia while preparing to set fire to an administrative building, the Russian FSB said in a statement.
Four Molotov cocktails, completed forms for service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and forms with an anti-Russian position for joining the organization were confiscated from the detainees.
“I was in the chat of the Legion “Freedom of Russia”. An SBU agent approached me with an offer to come to the territory of Rostov-on-Don for subsequent evacuation to Ukraine. I completed the task, arrived in Rostov-on-Don on the evening of September 9, where an SSB man with the call sign Chief gave me the task of setting fire to the military registration and enlistment office, providing me with all the means and instructions for making an incendiary mixture,” admitted one of the detainees.
Criminal cases have been opened.
Earlier, on September 4, in the Zaporozhye region, the FSB of the Russian Federation detained an accomplice of Ukrainian saboteurs who collected and transferred to them several bombs to carry out terrorist attacks in the region on instructions from the main intelligence department of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
