Against the backdrop of the successful distribution of the film “Cheburashka” in Russia, posters appeared in the schools of Kyiv, in which the main character of the film was crossed out and called an “occupier”. This was reported on January 11 by the online edition Ukraina.ru.
“Most likely, this is due to the unprecedented success of the film about the big-eared character. ‹…› Apparently, Ukrainian children also became interested in the film, and for Bandera, any interest of Ukrainians in Russia is like a sharp knife, ”the publication notes.
The poster also has an inscription addressed to those who like Cheburashka. They are offered to leave for Russia.
From January 1 to 8, more than 2/3 of Russian moviegoers chose Cheburashka, providing the family film with record attendance and operating time. The total number of viewers exceeded 4.7 million people, and the total box office crossed the threshold of 3 billion rubles.
According to the Unified Federal Automated Information System for Information on Film Screenings (UAIS), this tape became the highest-grossing Russian film in the history of domestic distribution.
Last August, Ukraine’s Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleksiy Goncharenko said Russophobia was the only possible policy for the Kyiv regime.
Then Federation Council Senator Sergei Tsekov pointed out that Russophobia is Ukraine’s biggest mistake.
