On Wednesday, January 8, the hosts of the digital channel ‘All good ‘, José Rodríguez, Tonino and Curwen, expressed their rejection of the comments made by the content creator Gerardo García, known as ‘The Cacash’ during his participation in the program ‘Good floro’. The YouTuber made an inappropriate and derogatory comment towards the model Gabriela Serpa, which generated a quick reaction from the program’s followers.
Many viewers and media outlets criticized ‘El Cacash’s’ statements and also questioned the drivers: Jose Rodriguez also known as ‘Pelao’, and Tonino for not intervening in time. Rodríguez, visibly affected, acknowledged that it was a mistake not to take immediate measures. “We made a mistake at the moment of not correcting, not stopping, not reacting, not throwing it away, these are things that happen in the moment,” he admitted. In addition, he assured that Gerardo García will not be invited again and apologized to both the audience and Gabriela Serpa, who was mainly affected by the comment.
Curwen explodes against ‘El Cacash’ for derogatory comment to Gabriela Serpa
Curwen, who was not present on the program at the time of the incident, was emphatic in his stance against Gerardo García. The driver revealed that upon finding out that ‘The Cacash ‘ would be invited to the program, he decided not to participate in the recording: “They told me: ‘Hey, ‘El Cacash’ is coming and I told them: ‘If he comes, I won’t come.'” Víctor Caballero explained that his decision was made for two fundamental reasons: he does not like the YouTuber’s attitude and he does not sympathize with his type of content.
Regarding the comment from ‘El Cacash’ towards Gabriela Serpa, Curwen He did not hesitate to criticize him harshly: “It’s not normal that you start a program and some idiot comes to say ‘ah, that’s something…’. I don’t know what’s funny about that, in what empty mind is that humor? No. It’s just violent, but unnecessary. I don’t understand where the fun is,” he said.
However, Curwen acknowledged that his ‘Todo Good’ co-stars were right to admit their mistake. “Here what I have to highlight from you is that there is no justification, here there is a responsibility because the measures that had to be taken at the time were not taken. Even for me it would be difficult to know how to react… we have to take it as a opportunity to learn,” concluded Víctor, emphasizing the importance of reflecting on the situation.
