Meerut. The Income Tax team has raided the houses of big industrialists and BJP leaders in Meerut. The team of Meerut Income Tax Department reached Vishwakarma Builders in TP Nagar police station area early in the morning. The team has raided the house of three partners of Vishwakarma Builders, Kamal Thakur, Pradeep Gupta alias Pinky and Sanjay Jain.
The team (Income Tax) is still busy in action. The raid by the Income Tax Department has created a stir across the city. Kamal Thakur built New Shambhu Nagar Colony and Vishwakarma Industrial Estate, the first private industrial estate of Uttar Pradesh. Now expansion work of industrial estate is also being done.
The Income Tax team has started investigation at Meerut Mall, New Shambhu Nagar and three other locations. Apart from the officials of Meerut, the team (Income Tax) also includes officials of Ghaziabad Noida. As soon as they heard the news of the Income Tax Department raid, BJP supporters reached the builder’s house. During the Income Tax proceedings in New Shambhu Nagar of TP Nagar police station area, there was a ruckus outside the house and some supporters even tried to jump inside the house.
Let us inform that during the action, heavy police force is deployed at the spot. The Income Tax team has reached here in several vehicles. Here the action is going on in the luxurious house of the BJP leader. The supporters of the BJP leader are busy creating ruckus outside. He told the force deployed outside to call an officer, we need to talk. However no one is being allowed inside.
