Tirumala: 7,000 rooms are rented out for the accommodation of devotees in Tirumala.
In this case, Kaustapam, Nandakam, Pancha Janyam, Vakulamatha dormitories cost Rs. 600 to Rs. 1000 has been raised as rent. From 1st of this month in Narayanagiri hostels Rs. 150 to Rs. 750 as the rent has been increased.
Narayanagiri- 4 hostels with each room starting from Rs.750 to Rs. 1,700 has been increased. Corner suite rent Rs. 2,200 has been raised. Special type cottage categories Rs. 750 to Rs. 2,800 has been raised.
Rs. 50 for rent like SMC, SNC, ASC, SVC and Rs.100 for Rampakkeecha, Varaha Swamy, SNGH, HVT. It is said that the rent of CADC, TBC, Saptagiri rental accommodation will also be increased manifold. Vehicle charges at Alibiri vehicle check post have been hiked recently. Bus fares, lattu and vada prasad prices have already been hiked between Tirupati-Tirumala.
