Digital Desk, Beirut. In the last 24 hours, 2,119 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in Lebanon, the highest since August 11. This information has been shared by the Ministry of Health.
Xinhua news agency quoted the ministry as saying that the total number of infections in the country has increased to 709,242, while the death toll has risen to 9,012 due to 16 deaths in the last 24 hours.
Asem Arazi, the head of Lebanon’s parliamentary health committee, urged citizens to follow health precautionary measures during the festive season.
