A very wealthy family decided to give their daughter the best birthday cake ever, and they spared nothing to do it. And it is that daughter received a cake creator by designer Debbie Wingham that cost $75 million.
This is considered the most expensive cake ever made.
Debbie Wingham was a fashion designer at the beginning of her career, but later she entered the world of food and became a cake designer. She is considered among the top 10 in the world.
According to the Your Tango portal, Wingham and his team took 1,100 hours to make the cake.which measured 6 feet long and was shaped like a fashion runway.
However, none of the above was what made the cake more expensive, but the amount of gems that were put in it, which, obviously, were not even edible.
The precious stones that adorned the peculiar dessert were the following:
–A 5.2 carat pink diamond
–A 6.4 carat yellow diamond
–15 white diamonds of 5 carats
–4,000 small diamonds, amethysts and emeralds
–In addition, the cake runway was made with 400 1-carat white diamonds, 73 3-carat white diamonds and 75 3-carat black diamonds.
