Dublin: India wins T20 cricket series 2-0 against Ireland.
The opening partnership was excellent for the Irish team who chased down the target of 228 runs. Paul Stirling – Andrew Palburn both landed the opening. Bhuvneshwar Kumar started the first over as usual for India. Stirling, known for his action on the Irish team, faced that over. He hit 18 off the first six balls with a six and three fours to start the chase.
Both the openers followed with a six in the second over and a six and a four in the third and fourth overs respectively. They reached 65 at the end of the first 5 overs. Ravi Bishnoi came and split the alliance. Stirling hit the first wicket when he faced 17 balls and added 40 runs.
Despite going to Stirling, Andrew Palburn revealed his game alongside Harry Dector, who struggled as a solo player in the last match. The duo put together a few overs and watched the run rate drop. Herschelle Patel dismissed Paulburn for 60 off 50 balls. At the same time, Harry Dector showed fear of consecutive fours in this match as well.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar dismissed him for 39 off 28 balls. Another Irish batsman, George Dockrell, did not have that peace of mind for a while. In the last overs, he scared the Indian bowlers. It took 17 runs to win the final over. George Dockrell and Mark Adair combined for 11 off the first five balls. The last ball required six runs. However, Umran Malik bowled effectively to help India win.

Expected to last till the final over, he was out for 104 in the final ball of 18 overs. The Indian team then scored 227 for 7 in the allotted 20 overs. For Ireland, Mark Adair top-scored with 3 wickets, while Little and Young took 2 wickets each.
