Sports Desk. India won the last match of the 4 T20 International series played between India and South Africa by 135 runs and won the series 3-1. In the last match, Sanju Samson and Tilak Verma had scored unbeaten centuries.
After this, Arshdeep Singh took three wickets for 20 runs and destroyed the top order of South Africa. With this, India’s big victory was ensured. Earlier, on the basis of Sanju Samson’s unbeaten 109 runs in 56 balls, Tilak Verma’s unbeaten 120 runs in just 47 balls and Abhishek Sharma’s 36 runs, India made a huge score of 283/1 in 20 overs.
Tilak Verma became the second Indian to score centuries in two consecutive T20 International matches (T20 International series). On the other hand, South Africa, while chasing the target, had a very poor start. Four wickets fell for 10 runs in the first three overs. Tristian Stubbs scored 43 runs in 29 balls with the help of three fours and two sixes, while Miller gave some hope to the hosts by scoring 36 runs in 27 balls. But Varun Chakraborty broke this partnership by dismissing Miller.
The entire South Africa team was out for 148 runs in 18.2 overs. For India, Arshdeep Singh took 3 wickets while Varun Chakraborty and Akshar Patel took two wickets each. Samson (Sanju Samson) and Tilak Verma made a place in the record books by scoring two consecutive centuries. Samson has become the first Indian batsman to score three centuries in T20 (T20 International series).
