1. Chandrayaan lands on the lunar surface again, Vikram Lander put into sleep mode

ISRO shared this video of Vikram Lander landing again on the moon.
Chandrayaan-3’s Vikram Lander re-landed on the lunar surface. ISRO told that the lander was raised up to 40 cm and then it was safely landed at a distance of 30 to 40 cm. This process is called hop experiment. Vikram Lander has now gone into sleep mode.
Why is this news important: It is expected that Vikram will resume his work on 22nd September. Hop experiment means jumping up to some height. This experiment will help in bringing samples of lunar soil in future and sending human missions there.

2. Saint of Ayodhya angry with Udhayanidhi’s statement, said- will give Rs 10 crore to the person who beheads him
Udhayanidhi Stalin, son of Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin, had talked about abolishing Sanatan Dharma on 2 September. Saint Paramhamsa Acharya of Ayodhya has expressed displeasure on this statement. He said that whoever brings the beheaded head of Stalin’s son will get a reward of Rs 10 crore. Paramhansa Acharya also used a sword on the poster of Udayanidhi.
Why is this news important: Despite all the controversies, Udhayanidhi stands firm on his statement. Speaking to reporters in Chennai, he said, ‘People have unnecessarily linked it to genocide. I am saying again that I have only criticized Sanatan Dharma and Sanatan Dharma should be abolished.

3. Rajnath said – Rahulyaan could neither be launched nor landed, someone else was driving Gehlot’s car

On the third day of BJP’s Parivartan Yatra in Rajasthan, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh took a dig at Rahul Gandhi and CM Ashok Gehlot. He said, ‘Chandrayaan was successfully launched and landed, but Rahulyaan has neither been launched nor landed for 20 years. Someone else is pressing the clutch and accelerator of the car in which Gehlot is sitting.
Why is this news important: Rajnath Singh flagged off BJP’s third Parivartan Sankalp Yatra in Ramdevra, Jaisalmer. This yatra will visit 51 assemblies in Jodhpur division in 20 days. BJP is taking out four Parivartan Yatras in Rajasthan. These yatras originating from all four directions will cover a total of 200 assembly seats in the state.

4. Fourth meeting of INDIA may be held in Bhopal, opposition will gather in the beginning of October
The fourth meeting of opposition alliance INDIA may be held in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. It is likely to happen in early October. Sources say that the option for the next meeting was discussed in the third meeting held in Mumbai. In which it was agreed to hold a meeting in Bhopal, but no date was fixed.
Why is this news important: Madhya Pradesh has assembly elections after two months. There are no elections this year in the three states where meetings were held earlier (Bihar, Karnataka and Maharashtra). Planning for a joint rally of leaders of opposition parties is also going on in Bhopal.

5. India beat Nepal in Asia Cup Super-4, Rohit-Gil shared 147-run partnership

Rohit Sharma scored 74 and Shubman Gill scored 67 runs. Both shared a 147-run partnership. 6 extra runs came from 5 wides and a leg bye.
India beat Nepal by 10 wickets in Asia Cup. Nepal batting first scored 230 runs in 50 overs. But due to rain, Team India got the target of 145 runs in 23 overs, which India achieved. With this victory, India has reached the Super-4 stage of the tournament.
Why is this news important: With this win, India has 3 points in the points table. Pakistan team has already qualified for Super-4 with 3 points. Rohit became the Indian with the highest fifty plus score in the Asia Cup. He scored 9th fifty in Asia Cup.

6. Assets of national parties increased by ₹1531 crore in 1 year, BJP increased by 21% and Congress by 16%
According to the report of Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR), the declared assets of 8 national parties of the country increased by ₹ 1531 crore in one year. The assets of these parties stood at ₹7,297.62 crore in 2020-21. Which increased to ₹8,829.16 crore in 2021-22. During this period, BJP’s assets have increased by 21% and Congress’s assets have increased by 16%.
Why is this news important: 8 parties whose wealth has increased. Among them are BJP, Congress, National Congress Party (NCP), Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), Communist Party of India (CPI), Communist Party of India Marxist, CPI(M), Trinamool Congress and National People’s Party (NPP). However, now there are only 6 national parties in the country. The National Party status of Communist Party of India and Trinamool Congress has been snatched away. 7. Jinping will not come to India for G20 summit, Biden said – disappointed but I will meet him

The picture is of the Bali Summit held in 2022. Chinese President Xi Jinping and US President Joe Biden met for the last time only then.
Chinese President Xi Jinping will not attend the G20 summit to be held in Delhi from 9 to 10 September. Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang is coming in his place. US President Joe Biden has expressed disappointment over Jinping not attending the summit. Biden said that he was disappointed but he would meet him.
Why is this news important: Jinping and Biden last met at the G20 Summit in Indonesia last year. Since then, tensions have increased between the two countries regarding the spy balloon and Taiwan. The US had alleged that China was rejecting its offers for talks.

8. Committee started discussion on one country-one election, Center said- Loksabha elections will be held on time
Ramnath Kovind Committee on One Nation-One Election has started work on it the very next day of the issuance of the notification. According to sources, top officials of the Union Law Ministry met former President Kovind and gave him a briefing on this issue. At the same time, the Center says that the government has no intention of holding Lok Sabha elections in the country before or after time.
Why is this news important: Many opposition parties are opposing ‘One Country – One Election’. Allegations are being made that the committee will only listen to the BJP.
