Kanpur. The second and final Test match of the two-match series between India and Bangladesh was played at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur. In this match, Team India, captained by Rohit Sharma, won over Bangladesh by 7 wickets, which was no less than a miraculous victory. That too when two days of the match were spoiled due to rain and only 35 overs could be played on the first day.
With this, India (Team India) captured the series 2-0. This is India’s 18th series win at home. Bangladesh had given India a target of 95 runs. India achieved the target by losing three wickets. In India’s second innings, Jaiswal (Yashasvi Jaiswal) played a brilliant inning of 51 runs, while Kohli (Virat Kohli) remained unbeaten after scoring 29 runs. Yashasvi Jaiswal scored half-centuries in both the innings.
In fact, on the last day of the second test match, the biggest challenge for India (Team India) was to take 8 wickets of Bangladesh. This work was done for India by Jasprit Bumrah (3), Ravindra Jadeja (3), Ashwin (3) and Akashdeep (1). India bowled out Bangladesh for 146 runs in the first session of the day. On the fifth day, India bundled out Bangladesh for 146 runs in the second innings. Bangladesh’s second innings had a bad start. In the second innings, only Shadman Islam and Mushfiqur Rahim could play for some time for Bangladesh. Shadman scored 50 runs with a brilliant half-century, while Mushfiqur scored 37 runs. Apart from this, no batsman could stand against the Indian bowlers. Bangladesh’s wickets kept falling at regular intervals and the entire team was reduced to 146 runs.
