Former Indian Navy captains Navjeet Singh Gill, Birendra Kumar Varma, Saurabh Vasisth and former commanders Amit Nagpal, Burnetu Tiwari, Sukhunagar Bhagala, Sanjeev Gupta and Rakesh were working in Qatar with a private firm called ‘Tahra Global Technologies and Consultancy Services’. The company has been working on a submarine project associated with the Qatari Navy. .
In this case, it is reported that these 8 officers shared the secret details related to this submarine project with the Israeli government and because of this, the Qatari government arrested them. However, the Qatari government has not officially announced the reason for their arrest.
