- Visa expires while in India
- He lost his job because he could not return on time
Kuwait City: The Indian Embassy is collecting information on expatriates stranded in the country in the wake of the travel ban announced by Kuwait following the spread of Kovid. The new registration drive is aimed at bringing the information to the attention of the Kuwaiti authorities and taking further action.
Last year, the embassy also collected information on Kuwaiti expatriates in India. Embassy officials said those who provided information last year also need to register anew. The information should be submitted in Google form via the link https://forms.gle/sExZK1GKW36BLpVz7.
The move is part of a drive to document the problems faced by Indian expatriates in connection with the travel ban. Visa expiration while in India, loss of job due to non-return on time, stranded goods in Kuwait, family members stranded in Kuwait, cases related to re-employment, non-payment issues etc.
Further details are available on the Embassy’s website www.indembkwt.gov.in or on its Twitter and Facebook accounts. For more information, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org by email.
